Short Hike around Fürenalp

If you drive through Engelberg and continue almost until the end of the valley which is governed by the mighty Titlis (3298m), you pass by a nice, tiny cable car station which leads up to the Fürenalp.

From there, you can do nice & easy roundtrip (2-3 hours of easy strolling) until the end of the valley which even gives you the possibility to cross over the Eggen-Surenenpass into the next valley, or you return back to the cable car station. We did the latter in June 2026.

# Tip: There are nice & rustical places to sleep in case you intend to stay for the night in the valley. Bring cash since cellphone connection is limited.
