Packrafting the Glatt River - Switzerland
The Glatt River in Switzerland is most probably one of the worst rivers I have rafted so far. It simply covers all aspects that packrafters don’t like normally: lot’s of civilization, many spots where you need to get out of the river and hardly any interesting parts.
This perception could also be caused by the fact that we rafted the Glatt several years ago in winter - badly equipped at that time, to be honest. It took us basically two days from the source close to the place where the Glatt meets the Rhine River.
As a conclusion, there are better rivers out there in Switzerland for packrafing purposes.
